Allow yourself to fail

Professionnally, we need to produce, produce, produce. It is always go, go, go time.
At home, if you fall short of a goal, one day, dust yourself off and try again the next day.
Last night, we went to bed late. But, i cooked the meat for the next three dinners to catch up. The following nights should be smoother and therefore, I should be able to meet the targets I have set.

If you forgive yourself for occasionnally missing a goal, you will find sticking to that goal.

The key of course is to stick with the goal and not to fall short and give up.

What do you think of this concept? Is the occasional failure acceptable when faced with a long term goal? Does it relieve the pressure or does it make you want to drop the ball altogether. Let’s discuss.
