I always wake up early on Saturday morning.
Everyone is still sleeping, I am alone in the world.
I start brewing a cup of coffee, open the blinds to let in the sunlight, cuddle under a blanket and put on some light spa music. It used to be called New Age music.
I then do what I am inspired to do.
I might read a book or a magazine, draw a bird or just stare outside and enjoy this moment of peace and quiet. I know everyone is safe and happy and sleeping. I can therefore enjoy this moment of solitude. I silently hope everyone sleeps in until around 9.
When everyone is awake, I am happy to see them and ready to spend a whole day playing games with the kids.
What about you? Do you have a Saturday morning ritual? What do you do in your moments of solitude?
