Thursday’s are vegetarian night. That is the theme we respect. However, I try to put lots of goodies on the table to make my family see that salad is a great treat.
I had two pieces of pita bread that had started to look old and wrinkly. I took out the kitchen scissors and chopped the pita into strips. I baked the chips with a sliver of olive oil and some coarse sea salt.
I did not create anything new but I made my family happy. They were munching happily on veggies. That makes me supremely happy.
