At Chimes Singapore, a gorgeous establishment adjacent to a decorative mosque (it’s only for the look, not a real mosque), we tried a Mexican restaurant.
On my project, I have two Jorges. Both from Mexico. One of the Jorges ordered tequila and sangrita.
I had never had sangrita before. The sequence is a one-two-three process.
Drink the sangrita in one shot. It’s like a shot of salty tomato juice.
Drink the tequila in one shot. The tequila will go down smooth like velvet.
Bite into the lime.
Warning: Some of my team mates mixed alcohols afterwards and were a little under the weather.
